HO CHI MINH CITY
As a young boy, I always cherished the ordinary wish that I would learn, work and living in Ho Chi Minh City one day. So I did my best to learn well so that I could enter a famous university there. And now, my desire comes true. After more than one year I have been living here, I see that Ho Chi Minh City is a good place for me as well as everyone to be.
The city provides convenient conditions for all people. First of all, about learning, you do not need to worry for there are a lot of universities and centers for you. You merely choose any of them that fit your ability. Most of the universities are very clean, large and comfortable. They bring learners the best learning environments. For example, classrooms have enough furniture like projectors, fans, lights, tables and etc... Classrooms are cool as well. If you are a sporty person you are able to play sports at any time you like. There are private sport yards like football, baseball, volleyball and so on. Moreover, if you want to get more extra degrees you can take courses in the centers. After class you can work part-time jobs to have your income for your daily activities. Second about traffic, roads are so large and smooth. They have pavements for pedestrians. Vehicles are very modern. They move currents to currents at the average speed. They almost only speed up on the motorways. Therefore, it is easy for your coming and going. You can go to school, work or someplace without being late by lots of different means such as buses, taxes, motorbikes, etc... However, going by bus is the most suitable for you because it is cheaper and safer than others. You only pay from three to five thousand dong for very far distance over thirty kilometers for each time. Buses run so early from five am to ten pm. Buses come to the station punctually. Finally, services are good. For instant, some kinds of service deliver goods to house. Many restaurants, hotels, motels and stores open both days and nights even weekend. While some persons suppose that Ho Chi Minh City is noisy and stuffy due to its crowded population and vehicles’ noise. Even though people cannot deny the advantage that the city gives them in a lot of aspects.
Ho Chi Minh City is an ideal place to live. After I graduate, I will be here to work and spend all my life. In the future, perhaps the city will develop more modernly. At that time, there will be people wanting to stay here.

My memorable memory
In my childhood, I was a shy boy, especially, I was very afraid of ghosts. I never went out by myself as it was getting dark. But finally, my fear happened to me even when I was in my own home. Up to now, I still have not forgotten that memorable memory.
My terrible memory came on a Saturday night of summer when my parents and younger brother went to my grandfather’s house. So, they let me at home. After they had left the house I closed all the doors and windows immediately. Because it was a weekend, I did not need to do my homework as well as prepared my lesson for the class. I had a lot of free time. I knew nothing to do apart from enjoying entertainment on television. While I was lying in the hammock by a bed to watch a football match, which I had waited for long time, suddenly I heard a weird sound that was echoing from the garden back. I thought about ghosts for my friends told me “ghosts always appeared at night. They had long black hair, two long sharp teeth. They only wore all in white and moved on their one leg. They will eat anyone that they see”. Maybe, they were calling one another. At that time, my hair was standing up and scary feeling was running all over my body. To decrease my own fear, I turned the volume louder. In fact, the sound did not disappear it was louder and louder. I was not courageous enough to carry on lying in the hammock. So, I jumped into the bed without switching off the lights and television and took the blanket to cover over me from the top to the feet. Under the blanket, my body was shaking, shaking and shaking. Sweat was through my white T-shirt. Although hot, I decided not to take the blanket off. All I hoped was my parents would come back sooner. Finally, they returned I was so gleeful that I jumped out of the bed and shouted up. My parents were absolutely surprised at my behaviors. I ran to my dad and ask what that was the sound. It sounded too terrible. He smiled at me and replied that was owls’ voices. I had supposed that was ghosts’ voices. He also explained there were not any ghosts on earth.
That is only one of my childhood memories, but I cannot forget it. To me, it seems to have occurred yesterday. And through it, I have not scared ghosts any longer.

THE PATH to SCHOOL
In school time, I had any friends to go to shool with me, so I only got there on my own. However, I never felt lonely for nature along with me went to school. The scenery from house to shool was a very beautiful natural picture.
This picture was only lovely and lively in every early morning. Every morning, the sun was coming- the east horizon began to light up slowly I left home for school.I walked on the small path by the river. I paced under the blocks of large old willows whose shadow was against the river. The hair of the willows was slopping down and shaking in the wind. The cool wind currents hugged all over my body. So comfortabe a feeling seemed to be runnig through me. When to the bridge, I stopped on the top of it I let my eyes bend into down the river. The pure water currents, which made the thin masses moss move slightly, were flowing slowly and slowly. Sometimes, several dead leaves dropped down and the water lever was wavy. afterwards, I was in a hurry to continue my jouney. A vast green field was waiting me forward. Paddy sides were so bendy so I have to turn left and right many times. In fact, cutting across the field was a wonderful thing for me. I smelled the sweet fragrance of wild daisies blending in the fresh air of dawn. the yellow and white daisies with wild violet flowers were shaking as if they were waving at me. Yellow, white and colourful butterflies was dancing over flowers. Suddently, a breeze current blowed over they flied up into the waves of colour. Bees appeared busy searching for sweet honey. Now the sun went up abit high. The sunlight shined through the branches and leavs . the carpets of grass twinkled due to foggy drops stagnating on. Out of the field, I carried on my going on the red gravel road with the bloks of trees along. I was keen on listening to birds' voice without caring anything about. AS I looked up the sun rose up higher and I came to school.
That is a good time of myschool time, a memorable moment that I have ever had. I myself feel so happy. One day I will tell it to my friend. I think they also will love it as I have done it.
